Megan Lindsay was raised in Arnold, MO. She moved to Mississippi after her high school graduation and attended the University of Mississippi. She majored in English Literature with a double minor in Chemistry and Art. She graduated as a scholar of the Sally McDonnell Barksdale Honor College, which is how she learned about the Mississippi Teacher Corps. She applied to MTC in the fall of 2014 and was accepted into the program shortly thereafter. For the past two years, she has been living in Olive Branch with her cat, Angel, and working as an English-Language Arts Teacher for the Marshall County School District. She completed her Masters degree in Curriculum & Instruction in May 2017. Angel thinks she's pretty cool. Her students think she should let them talk more in class.
